You and a Tattoo... Temporarily
Sign up and get a professional looking temporary tattoo! Summer is the perfect time to show off cool temporary tattoos, and the library is just the place to get them... FREE! Join us at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at the West Carrollton Branch. Glenn Scott from Glenn Soctt's Tattoos will be on hand to provide the artwork. Scott has been featured in countless magazines and newspapers for not only his work, but also his strides made to promote cleanliness in the tattoo industry. He has been in business for over 20 years in the Miami Valley and has three area locations. Permission slips signed by a parent or gaurdian are required.

about the endangered Arcade building downtown. The group is open to
the public and seeks to save the Arcade from potential demolition.

Free Art Exhibit Downtown

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the United States Air Force and the Air Force Wife in support of the military mission, a group of 16 Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) officer’s wives and their instructor are exhibiting artwork at the Dayton Metro Library's downtown location. This is an exhibit not of airplanes and Air Force memorabilia, but rather a collection of nearly 50 drawings and paintings by the military wives who have traveled, lived and survived in various parts of the world in support of their husband’s career.
